This is another scene from within Enchanted Rock State Park. This area is very typical of Texas Hill Country, thick growth of underbrush, oak and cedar trees, cactus and various other plants vying for their place in the sun.

This is a view of the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park at approximately a mile high altitude. The park encounters quite a transition from the lower desert elevations to the higher mountain regions.
