Golden October
Oil on canvas, 16"x20"
I can't seem to get a good photo as my reds and oranges are a bit dull in the photo. This is a made up scene painted with a split complementary color scheme.
Enhancing on the computer could help, but sometime you have to play around with the adjustment to get closer to the truth. No matter, lovely painting. --Also if you can set the kind of lighting you're photographing in--natural, fluorescent or incandescent--that will do a color adjustment. I have found however that the art photographed in natural North light will turn out bluer than then the reality and if photographed in Southern light, the Reds in the painting will dominate. Trial and error is the game.
