Welcome Spring

This was a lot of fun to paint. Oaks, cactus, bluebonnets, a running stream and a sky with wind swept clouds all make for a beautiful spring day in the Texas Hill Country.

What a glorious painting, David. The lighting is fantastic as is your use of color, and the feeling of distance is terrific. "Welcome Spring" is a great picture!
