I will be doing more work on this little piece but wanted to view it online first. This scene is near Hallettsville, Texas. I drove there last weekend taking pictures, the area is full of wildflowers of every color. Quite Beautiful.

This scene kind of created itself. I began with the large tree then painted around it until complete. I may make some adjustments after letting it rest a few days.

Summer Chisos

This view of the Chisos Mountains is few miles from the road to the Basin.
As is often the case, like many others, I have revised this painting and uploaded the new image.

La Grange Oak
