The Background Hill was bothering me, it just called for to much attention, so I pushed it back and removed some of the detail. This is the revised painting.

I used a photo from around Bandera for this piece but I altered it quite a bit.

Just getting back from a trip to Moab and catching up w. blogs, and impossible task. Beautiful colors and values in the Big Bend piece. It is such a gorgeous place!
