I purchased this painting from the artist in October, 2011. As one can see from the photo, there are no bluebonnets in the painting. I corresponded with Mr. Forks and asked if he could add some bluebonnets and he graciously did. I love High Prairie Desert! I had family who settled in Texas, and when I look at my painting, I feel a sense of home.
