Shit dude you nailed the color on this one! Those damn plates have been in our family since '92. Which happens to be the same year that I could throw a pigskin 'bout a quarter mile.
David, this is a terrific picture. A lot of still-life paintings just sit there, but this one resonates with you. There's a wonderful mood in the painting, and your ability to capture light and shadow is superb.
